Our Story
The Sustainable Generation began as a family collaboration. Every year, each member of the Wheeler family would contribute $50 to be loaned, granted, or invested in someone's idea, somewhere in the world primarily through Kiva.org.
Today, we are scaling our impact by partnering with companies who want to catalyze innovation around the world.

Where We Invest
Kiva.org and Zidisha.org are our primary platforms for distributing no-interest microloans. We also have holdings in clean energy bonds. In the future we will be working more directly with aspiring social entrepreneurs and larger projects.

Our Mission
The Sustainable Generation seeks to alleviate global poverty by catalyzing business innovation. Using our Social Impact Fund, we redistribute profits from innovators in the United States to entrepreneurs in the developing world. We believe business has a substantial role to play in improving lives around the globe.
